Wildenstein Waterfall

The Wildenstein Waterfall in Gallizien is one of Europe's highest free-falling waterfalls with a height of 54 meters. Without steps or cascades, the water is shooting out of the mountain and falling down freely. The water temperature in summer is about 12 degrees. The waterfall owes its name to the ruins of Wildenstein Castle above, which is said to have been destroyed during the earthquake of 1348. On the platform at the Wildenstein waterfall there are seats, so that you can rest here perfectly and enjoy the view of the waterfall.
