Olimpline Via Ferrata

The ferrata Olimpline literally runs from the centre of Črna na Koroškem and is considered one of the most difficult in Slovenia. It takes 20 minutes of walking to get to the ferrata. You can park anywhere in the centre of Črna and walk along the road to Koprivna, cross the bridge and after a few metres a sign for the ferrata will direct you off the road and up the hill, from where you can follow the path to the entrance of the ferrata.

It will take you about 3 to 4 hours to climb the ferrata with sections of walking in between. The ferrata is set up in such a way that its basic variant has a C difficulty rating, which can be climbed by less skilled individuals and those of average physical condition. However, the ferrata itself has several sections rated D and E and one challenge rated F, for the really fit and experienced individuals. The whole ferrata is well marked. You will climb about 1700 m in length and about 550 m in altitude.
