The Summer School 2025 of the INTERREG Humanita project has just finished! Twenty-five students from eleven countries participated. It was a pleasure and privilege to host them, get to know them and collaborate during the event.
Congratulations to all students who participated! A big thank you to our project partners and to all the project staff who organised a week filled with intense and high-quality activities. The Summer School was organised by FH Kärnten – Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (CUAS) and was proudly hosted by our Geopark. We are deeply involved in various aspects of the project and its accompanying activities, and we also played an active role in the Summer School.
Students experienced intense and rewarding days learning about different monitoring techniques involved in the project, participating in field workshops on wildlife observations and monitoring, collecting various types of data, e-DNA, conducting sampling, and familiarising themselves with technologies and accessing insights from experts across fields from Austria, Slovakia, Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, and Croatia.
