Last week, as part of the Interreg Danube Region Danube GeoTour Plus project, we attended a partner meeting in the picturesque village of Bükkszentkereszt, located in Bükk-vidék Geopark, Hungary.
The meeting included workshops on geotourism, visitor management, and inclusion of vulnerable groups. We participated in pilot presentations, outdoor testing of visitor monitoring tools, and a training session on social media and video content.
The program also featured an excursion to the Bükk Astronomical Observatory, Szeleta Park, and the Szeleta and Kecske-lyuk caves.
We sincerely thank Bükk-vidék Geopark for their excellent organization and warm hospitality.
