Pupils impress with self-made animated films

A time machine as a cure for Kralj Matjaž's heartbreak? And what role does a rare stamp play in the emergence of Ante Pante's customs?

The answers to these questions were impressively presented by the 3rd and 4th grade students of the Karavanke UNESCO Global Geopark Education Center Bad Eisenkappel / Železna Kapla in their animated films "Kralj Matjaž finds his happiness - Kralj Matjaž najde srečo" and "Ante Pante". The scripts for the films also came directly from the pens of the school children themselves. Likewise, all the scenes were drawn and shot by the children. They were supported by Mr. Georg Berger (Media Center Carinthia), who professionally introduced the children to the world of film and coordinated the many work steps from the drawing to the final product and finally took care of the sound and editing.

The film is not only a creative representation of Kralj Matjaž and Ante Pante, but also an active implementation with the diverse themes of the UNESCO Global Geopark. In May, the two films were presented to the public for the first time.

On 26.06.2023 at 10.00 a.m. there will be a public screening in the GeoDom on the Petzen.
