The new Information Center of the Geopark Karawanken in Ravne na Koroškem is officially open!
The new GeoHub is more than just a traditional info point—it is an active experience center tailored to local residents, visitors, schools, and families. Interactive touchscreens allow visitors to independently plan trips and explore hiking trails on both sides of the border. The focal point of the space includes a special exhibition on water in the Mežica Valley, alongside two interactive hands-on tools: the Sandbox (an interactive sandpit for discovering geology) and the Music of Water.
The event brought together numerous local and national representatives, as well as partners from Slovenia and Austria.
