We're delighted to share the highlights from our recent seminar held on September 24th, 2023, at the Smrekovec mountain alpine hut.
The seminar was hosted by the I-SWAMP project partners EGTC Geopark Karawanken-Karavanke and Insitute of Republic Slovenia for Nature Conservation.
Alpine associations and hut managers gathered to dig into the significance of Alpine wetlands and how they can contribute to their preservation.
Participants learned about the I-SWAMP project's goals and the crucial role they can play in safeguarding these invaluable ecosystems. It was an engaging and enlightening day, filled with discussions, insights, and a shared commitment to the environment.
