Award ceremony of educational certificates of the Karawanken-Karavanke UNESCO Global Geopark - Educational Centre

Yesterday, during the ceremonial session on the occasion of the municipality holiday of Ravne na Koroškem, together with the president of the cross-border Geopark Karawanken-Karavanke, Mayor Dr. Tomaž Rožen, we awarded educational certificates "Karawanken-Karavanke UNESCO Global Geopark - Educational Center Ravne na Koroškem". Educational certificates were received by three elementary schools (Prežihov Voranc Elementary School, Koroški Jeklarji Elementary School, and Juričevega Drejčka Elementary School) and a kindergarten in the municipality of Ravne na Koroškem.

We are proud that the network of certified Geopark schools, kindergartens, and educational centers is expanding, which is undoubtedly a sign of our long-standing work in the field of education about the rich heritage of the area and the successful collaboration with educational institutions on both sides of the border.
