The three municipalities of Črna na Koroškem, Eisenkappel-Vellach and Globasnitz will organise a recurring cross-border PeaceWalk to reunite historically connected places and promote exchange between the inhabitants. This initiative in the Karawanken UNESCO Global Geopark aims to strengthen trust between people and reinforce regional identity through cultural programmes and walking together. The project aims to strengthen good neighbourly relations through the involvement of the local population and confidence-building measures.
PROGRAMME OUTLINE
10:00 - Meeting point Alpengasthof Riepl
10:30 - Hike to the Topitza
13:30 - Almkirchtag with music and excellent catering by Alpengasthof Riepl
Each participant receives a shield cap, a Reindling/potica for breakfast and a free drink!
Organised transport from Črna na Koroškem bus station to the Kumer farm in Koprivna at 8:30 am and back to Črna at 4:30 pm. Registrations for transport are accepted until 20 June 2024 by calling +386 (0)2 87 04 810.
