Objectives of the Geopark Karawanken-Karavanke
1. Preserving the geological, natural, and cultural heritage within the territories of its member municipalities;
2. Enhancing awareness, providing information and education about the Karawanken-Karavanke Geopark, and actively promoting its values and significance;
3. Supporting economic development in the region, particularly through sustainable tourism;
4. Strengthening cross-border cooperation, fostering regional development, and representing local interests through coordinated and sustainable regional policies.
