Project: Geopark

Project goals were:

- Establishment of a transboundary geopark;
- Promote the sustainable use of geological natural resources and contribute to their conservation through cross-border coordination and management;
- Intensification of transboundary cooperation;
- Improving the visibility and promoting the sustainable development of this area, mainly through "geotourism" and "geoeducation".

Project duration: 36 months (completed: 31. 8. 2013).
